    心理測定・個人差研究の分野で発展してきた測定モデルである項目反応モデル(Item Response Model, IRM)において項目と個人を入れ替えた状況を扱う転置型項目反応モデル(transposed Item Response Model,tIRM)について,概念的な整理を行い実データへの試験的な適用を開始した昨年度に引き続き,tIRMの新たなインスタンスを提案するとともに,tIRMをマルコフ連鎖モンテカルロ(Markov chain Monte Carko, MCMC)法を用いてベイズ推定するうえでしばしば厄介となる,尤度における不定性という問題に対処するための技術の開発を中心に研究をさらに展開したことが本年度の主な実績である。 まず,モデルの開発について言えば,項目と個人の両方の識別力を考慮した双対サーストン項目反応モデル(Dual Thurstonian IRM,DTIRM)に対応する転置型双対サーストン項目反応モデル(transposed DTIRM,tDTIRM)を提案し,感情心理学研究用の画像データベースに適用することで,反応プロセスの個人差を考慮したうえで刺激画像に項目反応理論ベースの基準評定値を付与できる可能性を示した。 次に,モデル推定上の基盤技術については,典型的なIRMの応用とは異なりtIRMの適用状況では識別力パラメータの台を制約しない方が自然であることが多いことを踏まえ,そのような非制約IRMをMCMC法によってベイズ推定する際に厄介となる,尤度における鏡映に関する不定性の問題に対処するためのアルゴリズムについての研究を展開した。予備的な検討の結果,MCMC法の出力の事後処理に基づくリラベリングアルゴリズムを適用できる可能性があることがわかった。
