    2021年度は、アクティブラーニングを使ってキャリア教育エクササイズを英語授業で実施する予定であった。しかし新型コロナウィルス感染拡大により、英語クラスはオンラインの課題配信型授業となったため、実施することができなかった。その代わりに、必修英語科目の特別課題として、春学期には知的活動を週ごとに記録する英文ログノートを、秋学期には現在と未来の英文履歴書を提出させた。その後アンケートを実施して、キャリア教育課題の取り組み具合とキャリア意識の関連について調べた。キャリア意識のアンケートとしてCareer-Action-Vision Test (CATV)（梅崎 ＆ 田澤, 2013）を用い、将来に対する「ビジョン」と将来に向けた活動をおこなう「アクション」を測定した。さらに英語学習動機のアンケートとしてL2 Motivational Self System (Dornyei, 2009）を用いて、学生の英語に関する理想自己（ideal L2 self）と義務自己(ought-to L2 self)を調べた。 理工学部生550名のアンケートデータを収集し、重回帰分析をおこなった。従属変数は「キャリア意識」、独立変数は英語に関する「理想自己」と「義務自己」、キャリア教育課題の「ログノート」と「履歴書」である。分析の結果、理想自己とログノートがキャリア意識の「ビジョン」を (adjR2 = .23, p < .01)、一方で、理想自己、ログノート、履歴書がキャリア意識の「アクション」を(adjR2 = .21, p < .01)、予測していることがわかった。つまり、将来英語を使用する自分の姿（理想自己）が、キャリア意識に最も関連があることが明らかになった。また、履歴書作成よりもログノートの方が、キャリア意識とより関連があることが判明した。
