    本研究は非関税措置（以下“NTM”）が企業のグローバル・バリューチェーン（以下“GVC”）における位置づけによって企業の貿易パフォーマンスに異質な影響を与えるメカニズムを解明するものである。分析は主に下記のパートから構成される。 <1> NTM→貿易の外延・内延への効果、すなわちNTMが企業の貿易相手国の数、及びそれぞれの貿易相手との貿易額に与える影響について分析する。また、NTMがもたらす異質な効果についても企業のGVCにおける位置をコントロールすることにより識別する。 <2> NTM→貿易企業の生産性への効果、すなわちNTMが貿易企業の生産性へ与える影響について分析する。他方、一般的に生産性の向上は企業の生存と正に相関していると考えられる。そのため、当初の研究計画から、さらに以下のパートを追加する。 <3>GVC→企業の生存への効果、すなわちGVCにおける位置付けが企業生存に与える影響について分析する。具体的にはサバイバル分析の手法を用いて企業のGVCにおける上流度合いが企業の生存可能性に与える影響について分析する。 <1> 、<2> パートはテーマの関連性が高いことから同時期に研究を行ったが、それらの研究が本年度で一区切りを迎えた。そのため、来年度より新たに追加した<3>パートの分析を手掛ける 。本研究における昨年度からの進展として、昨年度執筆した論文3本のうちの1本については現在は国際査読誌においてリバイス中である。その他1本はGVCに関連したテーマとして新たにディスカッション・ペーパーとして公表しており、現在国際査読誌において投稿中である。
