    2021年度は主に２つの研究活動を中心に行なった。１つは動画制作、もう１つは聞き取り調査である。動画制作は、SNS上に投稿されていたサンバ・ヂ・ホーダの動画の使用許可を得て、この動画で演奏されている音楽のリズムパターンと、ダンサー5名のステップとの関係性を可視化する２次元動画の制作を、四国大学生活科学部人間生活科学科の上野昇准教授の協力を元に行なった。また聞き取り調査では、対面およびオンラインを併用し、計5回実施した。 聞き取り調査は2021年8月から12月の期間に、7名を対象に行なった。1回目は、奄美大島在住で日本の民俗舞踊研究者である進藤貴美子氏（北海道教育大学名誉教授）、2回目は米国のアフリカン・ダイアスポラダンス研究のイヴォン・ダニエルPhD（スミスカレッジ名誉教授）とサンバダンサー兼研究者であるアウグスト・ソレダージ（フロリダ大学准教授）、3回目は京都でアフロブラジル音楽を実践する3名、4回目および5回目はブラジル・バイーア州ヘコンカヴォ地域内のカショエイラ在住で、現在も３代に渡りサンバ・ヂ・ホーダを実践し、サンバ・ヂ・ホーダのUNESCO人類無形文化遺産登録に多大なる貢献を果たしたドナ・ダウヴァ（90歳女性）の孫であるアニー・フレイタスに実施した。 舞踊研究者からは、民俗舞踊の普遍性に関する情報、舞踊譜については対象者を明確にして開発を進めること等の意見が得られた。また、サンバ・ヂ・ホーダ実践者からは、ステップの表示が非常に重要であること、またその理由として、サンバ・ヂ・ホーダの踊り方であるサンバ・ミウヂーニョでは爪先から踵までをしっかり地につけて踊ることによる霊的な意味等の知識を得られた。これらの調査結果は考察と共に、第23回日本スポーツ人類学会大会（2022年3月）にて発表した。

    Various martial arts is considered by Brazil as the educational means. You were telling the martial arts without charge and various to poor people as a social project. Judo, Brazilian jujutsu and overall martial arts were investigated by this research. The purpose is poor people's children are avoided from a crime, and to give hope. You did judo with Japanese affiliated immigrant's educational purpose in particular, and it spread, but there is also a group which is admitted as the educational intermediary that even Brazilian whole can admit and is coming into action as nongovernmental organization present. It can probably be said that a social project is so successful in Rio Olympics that the player who acquires a gold medal appears, too.

    The purpose of this research is to clarify the meaning of the underlying philosophy "Malicia" of Brazilian traditional martial arts Capoeira and to reexamine the body technique which embodies "Malicia" at the Capoeira game from the viewpoint of bargaining. The conclusions obtained are as follows. ①It is presumed that "Malicia" is derived from the meaning of malice and a positive meaning was added through the practice process of Capoeira. ② By adding three goals of "taking the back," "waiting" and "changing the direction" at the Capoeira game will make it possible for a bargaining with a "technique accompanying Malicia". In addition, Capoeira's characteristic step "Ginga" plays an important role in the realization of "Malicia".

    For the fundamental study of teaching material of capoeira enjoying the process of tactics, I clarified the social role of Capoeira, the basic body skills of Capoeira and the center idea of Capoeira training. As the results, it is the characteristic of Capoeira that the meaning of actions as well “question & answer” is the most important thing. And this characteristic is the center idea of capoeira as teaching material for international education in Japan.
