    本研究は,居住環境に存在するナノ・マイクロプラスチック問題を定義し,室内環境中のサンプリング法,定性定量分析法を確立した上で,全国規模で実態調査を実施し,室内空間におけるナノ・マイクロプラスチック問題の所在を明らかにすることを目的とする.2021年度は研究初年度であり,研究目的の達成に向けて以下の課題に取り組んだ. 居住空間中に存在するマイクロプラスチックの多くはハウスダスト中に存在すると推測されることから,ハウスダスト中のマイクロプラスチック調査法(サンプリング法と成分分析法)について検討した.サンプリングしたハウスダストはサイズ別に分級した後,光学顕微鏡を用いた形状観察を行った.成分分析では,比較的大きい粒子はμFT-IR(Micro Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy)を用いて成分分析を実施し,比較的小さい粒子はLDIR (Laser Direct Infrared) ケミカルイメージングシステムを用いて成分分析を実施した.また,これら2つの方法を用いた調査・分析法のプロトコルを提案している. 提案したプロトコルに従い,室内環境中のマイクロプラスチックの存在可能性を確認するため,首都圏,秋田,信州,大阪を調査対象としたサンプリングを実施した.ハウスダスト中にマイクロプラスチックの多くはマイクロファイバーの形状で存在することを確認した.成分としてはCellulose,Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET),Polyethylene (PE)順に多かった.
