- 「Modeling the Effect of Resident Influx on Segregation Equilibrium: An Extension of Schelling's Model of Residential Segregation」Keisuke SasakiThe 61st Annual Conference of the JSRSAI 2024/10【Abstract】An Extension of Schelling's Model of Residential Segregation is the main theme of this paper. It also includes the estimation of the new experimental scheme to analyze Schelling's segregation model, when residents can form the social segregation as steady states. Here resident's utility is defined as the sum of the same type residents. After characterizing some behavioral restrictions, we discuss experimentally whether "Resident Influx" influenced the process and speed of reaching equilibrium. In the context of Schelling's equilibrium of segregation, the analysis in this paper also shows the study of the introduction of another cell-shape, hexagonal pattern (hexagonal grid; p6m).

Here local public firm's utility is defined as "the sum total of the water supply." In the context of the propensity score matching (PSM) design, local public firms are defined as the organizational architecture, which the allocation between resources can have productive effect under budgetary provision funding the water supply. After characterizing the efficiency of water supply management, we discuss empirically whether the amendments to the law improved the efficiency of public firms. The analysis in this paper shows positive results, which are different from the negative results in Sasaki(2019). The conclusion of that paper was that the amendments of the Local Public Enterprise Act did not generate a significantly better deal of water supply.
